Magnetic dirt separator for protecting domestic gas and electric boilers

In closed heating and cooling systems, contaminants in the circulating medium can cause wear or damage to system components such as pumps, valves, etc. These impurities can also clog heat exchangers, radiator connections and pipes, reducing thermal efficiency and thus the overall performance of the system.

The HeizerMag Micro magnetic filter is capable of filtering out contaminants and large particles in the heating system using a built-in special V-shaped stainless steel filter and magnetic rod, which are located in a transparent filter container. The transparent container allows the amount of dirt to be easily monitored, so that the filter can be cleaned in good time. For cleaning, the plastic cover must be removed and rinsed with water.

The shut-off valve, which forms the upper brass head, serves to safely shut off the filter container and, if necessary, the medium supply to the boiler. This minimizes the pressure resistance when the fluid enters and exits the filter container. The chamber capacity effectively retains the fluid so that it can be filtered as efficiently as possible, i.e. freed from magnetic and non-magnetic particles.

The neodymium magnet bar ensures that metal contaminants adhere to the strong magnet when the fluid flows through the magnetic field. The efficiency of the capture is further enhanced by a double-frame stainless steel filter throughout the entire depth of the filter housing, which filters magnetic and non-magnetic particles from the flowing liquid.
