Magnetic dirt separator for protecting domestic gas and electric boilers

In closed heating and cooling systems, contaminants in the circulating medium can cause wear or damage to system components such as pumps, valves, etc. These impurities can also clog heat exchangers, radiator connections and pipes, reducing thermal efficiency and thus the overall performance of the system. The HeizerMag MINI magnetic filter is capable of filtering out contaminants and large particles in the heating system using a built-in stainless steel filter and magnetic rod, which are located in the filter housing.

The high efficiency of the filter is ensured by a plastic flow deflector, which regulates the flow of the medium in the container so that the heat transfer fluid flows over the entire surface of the filter container, i.e. past the magnet and through the double-layer stainless steel filter. This ensures maximum filtration efficiency comparable to larger and more expensive filters.

The brass shut-off valves are designed to minimize pressure resistance in the system and to securely close the filter inlet and outlet openings during cleaning.

A neodymium magnet bar ensures that metal contaminants stick to the strong magnet when the fluid flows through the magnetic field. The flow deflector in the filter chamber increases the filter's efficiency by forcing the fluid to flow through the entire volume of the chamber, thus traveling the longest possible path past the magnet and through the two-layer stainless steel filter. This ensures that the maximum amount of magnetic and non-magnetic contaminants is filtered out of the flowing fluid.
