The S1X series can use multiple energy sources for maximum efficient hot water production. The S1X is suitable for most combinations of renewable energy sources (solar ≤ 12m2; heat pump ≤ 5 kW) with a high-temperature heat source (gas or biofuel boiler up to 25 kW). A high-temperature heat source can also be connected to the lower heat exchanger, while the upper heat exchanger can provide heat to a small heating circuit for the apartment. The electric heater can be used as backup heating, additional heating to increase capacity or as legionella protection (with external control). The mixing valve can be easily retrofitted as an option if necessary.

The tank minimizes heat loss with its excellent thermal insulation. The tank also has excellent corrosion protection thanks to the Incoloy 825 material.

The tank is available with a storage volume of 300 liters. The internal heat exchangers are permanently welded smooth-tube coils.

The heating elements have a thermostat that can be adjusted from 50 to 75°C, and the safety thermostat is activated at 85°C. The 9 bar safety valve can be used up to 90°C and has a 1/2” external thread connection. The scale-resistant heating element has a 5/4” connection. The tank feet are height-adjustable from 0 to 40 mm.
