The submerged titanium anode is an advanced solution for preventing internal corrosion in water heaters. Unlike traditional sacrificial anodes, this product features a high tensile strength titanium core coated with an Ir–Ta mixed metal oxide catalyst, providing a more durable and cost-effective solution.

The electrically powered anode continuously supplies electrons to the steel tank, protecting it from corrosion and extending the life of the water heater. Since it does not wear out like sacrificial anodes (magnesium anodes), it leaves no residue, requires minimal maintenance, and will last for over 10 years. It also softens the water, reduces sediment buildup, and removes the unpleasant, sulfurous “rotten egg” odor from the tank.
